Antonio is now 7 y/o and doing great.

As a baby, he had persistent jaundice, strugle to gain weight and was hospitalized the first time because he got a cold and was having apnea.

Hospitalized again (at 2 mo) for failure to thrive and that's when doctors found out he had pulmonary stenosis.   Also, that's when we got his Noonan syndrome diagnosis.

Heart surgery at 5 mo with complications for retaining fluids, etc.  Went back to the hospital at 7 mo because his lungs were failing (retracting and grunting).  Came home with g-tube and fat free formula.  Lots of vomiting was going on but he managed to gain lots of weight.

He has always seen therapists.  He was not eating by mouth and before he was 2 y/o, we got him into this pilot program in Seattle, that basicaly makes them feel-see the relationship between hunger and food.  At the end of 1 m, he was eating pured food, then drinking, then chewing, then . . . he can eat a horse now (REALLY!).

Antonio is very smart and charming.  He is amazingly very funny and fast thinker.  He has an awesome memory and observes all the little details.  He pays a lot of attention to feelings and he is a very caring person.  He loves animals.

At school he struggles with writting and in general with fine motor activities.  He works very hard to try to keep up with his peers as far as gross motor activities, has to practice more, but he just got his YELLOW belt in Tae-Kwon-Do.

Well, that's our Antonio in a nut shell.  We  LOOOOOVE him  SOOO  much.

Antonio has an older sister Nicole (8) and little bro Jason (5).

Thanks.
